Hot dogs, frisbee's, volleyball's, and bee's
The college age group here at B.H.B.C meets once a month to do something fun. We call these the 'First Friday' events. They are always fun and action packed.
This evening started out with us meeting at the Axe's at 6ish to carpool to Fire fighters park in Troy. Once we all got there, we started up the mini grill to get the food a-cookin'. As it was cooking we tossed a couple of frisbees' to each other. The food wasn't anything special, just 'Dog's' as Steven calls them and a few different types of chips; and of course some soda to wash it all down with! But the food was still good. Until the bee's attacked! Nobody was stung, so no worries. John Kim, our hero of the night, was catching the bee's and trapping them in cups then smashing them under his foot! Which is nothing less than what the bee's deserved, they were trying to eat our 'dog's'.
After we all got done eating and talking we all headed over to the sand volleyball court and played a few games. We all had fun, the sand was soft, but a little wet from the rain. We couldn't stay as late as I'm sure we all would have liked but the mosquitoes were just too bad.
So despite all the bugs we all had a lot of fun and those of you who didn't show up missed out on a lot of fun! I hope that you all decide to come to the next event!
Well, that's all for this blog, I hope you liked it, and I hope it made you want to come to the next fun thing that we do. Hope to see you all on Sunday! But until next time, take care, and God bless!
