Senior Pastor: Dr. Donald McKay

 Dr. Donald McKay is the pastor of Bloomfield Hills Baptist Church, a church known within the Metro Detroit area for having strong biblical preaching and dynamic worship.  Dr. McKay joined Bloomfield in May, 2008 as the senior pastor. Prior to that he had served as the senior pastor of a baptist church in Windsor, ON Canada for 15 years where he gained national recognition for his stand against Islam. Beside serving as a pastor he has been a radio and television host and a college professor. Currently, he is the president of the Bloomfield Hills Institute for Theological Studies, a Bible school for lay people.  Dr. McKay was ordained into the ministry in 1993. He has a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Biola University, a M.A. in Theological Studies from Talbot Seminary (La Mirada, CA) and a Doctorate from Liberty University (Lynchburg, VA). He and his wife, Rhonda have six children. Lexy and Tory, the oldest, are students at Wheaton College. Stuart, Bella, Kitty and Truman attend high school, middle school and grade school.   

Youth Pastor: Dan Hanselman 

Dan began serving as the youth pastor of Bloomfield in November of 2010. He has a passion for teaching middle high, high school, and college students about the "awesomeness" of Jesus Christ. Prior to joining the forces of Bloomfield, he served Jesus as a youth pastor in Waterford, MI and Cortez, CO.Dan graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Bible/Theology and in 2010, he received his Masters of Theology from Moody Theological Seminary.Dan loves hanging out with his wife and kids, watching the Detroit Lions, running marathons and reading. Finally, Dan would welcome anyone to stop by his office with oreos and/or double big gulp slurpees. 

Administrative Assistant: Karen McNab

Karen keeps the church running smoothly. She is the person you want to talk to about reserving a room, getting information, or any practical question you about the church. Call the church office or email her and she will gladly help you out. Karen is a wife and a mother of two young adults.   

Worship Service Coordinator: Rick Helderop 

Rick plans the worship services and directs the choir, worship team, and instrumentalists. Rick is married and the father of one adult child.
